What I Got Wrong in 2011
I studied it every day for six weeks prior to going to Alabama and Florida on vacation. I met Jim Wood, right, in Dothan Al, then went down to Panama City, FL to join Walt Graves, center, from Atlanta.
When I swung my driver on the first hole, it hit the ground a foot behind the ball, then ricocheted into the ball, creating a duck hook into the left rough about 30 yards off the tee box.
I took an 8 on the first hole, a par four. Then went on to shoot 55 on the first nine. Finally, I abandoned the book's concepts and shot a 44 on the back nine with my old swing techniques.
First round score for me was 99. I shot in the low 80s the next three days as I got back to my normal game. My slightly-used golf book is now for sale.
Gov. Indiana, would enter the race, then become
our next president. He would have too, except his
wife wouldn't let him leave the house to campaign.
"Pucker up America, here comes Rich Perry."
And then, they held the debates ... Goodbye Rick.
In the autumn, Herman Cain was a Follies favorite.
By Thanksgiving, 9-9-9 high heels started dropping
like needles from his Atlanta, Georgia pines.
Sorry Herman, we still like you, but ...
'It wouldn't be Friday without the Follies.'
