Ms. Beverly McCusker, (center) long-suffering wife of your Follies editor, recently won the annual Carp Fishing Contest in Waterloo, Iowa.
Ms. Beverly is also currently appearing on stage as Nurse Withers in a whodunnit murder mystery farce at the Waterloo Community Playhouse.
She will be hosting a free fish-fry this coming Sunday after the matinee performance of "Murder in the Heir."

Nobel recipient, Mr. Obama, was also awarded the green jacket for winning the next 2010 Masters in Augusta, GA. The rest of the tourney has been canceled. Mr. Obama's green jacket will be added to his trophy case, along with the Heisman Trophy he won after watching a football game on ESPN.
Hmm ... Where have we seen this image before? Nick Faldo helps Tiger Woods put on his green jacket after winning his first major in 1997 at age 21. Mr. Woods has won 71 PGA events, 14 majors and $93 million in prize money by age 33. In 2009, Woods played in 17 events. He won six and was second three times, earning $10.5 million for the season.
Mr. Woods has a better record this year than Mr. Obama.
